Savoury and delicious breakfast with a great selection of TASTY food. Exceptionally comfortable bed in a double room with coffee and an electric kettle. Location adjacent to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a rain forest, and the center of the village.

    fine garden
    perfect location

The location was very nice for exploring Volcano National Park, and the breakfast spread was good-especially the homemade banana bread and frittatas. The peaceful rainforest setting and beautiful gardens made for a perfect haven to unwind after a day of adventure.

    Nothing.

    variety shortage
    welcome absence

The breakfast items stocked in the fridge daily woudl ve been a nice touch if there had been more variety. I cannot understand why i didn't receive any kind of cute gesture , especially as i spent two nights here. Almost gave it a good review, but just couldn't.

    self-made breakfast

    Couples seeking tranquility

We totally loved the self-made breakfast, it was all vegetarian and just so delicious! The banana bread? Mmm. It was so good we tried the recipe from their website right away.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I'd say it's worth every penny.

    lush environment
    family getaway
    fine waterfalls
    kid-friendly dining

The lush environment and proximity to Volcano National Park were perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed exploring the old foot trail from Hilo to Kīlauea, and even got to see some fine waterfalls around the area. Staying with mum made it even more special.

My wife says that more kid-friendly dining options would enhance the experience.

    beautiful flowers
    modern comfort
    limited variety
    breakfast items

The cozy hotel blends charm with modern comfort, and the lovely forest path with beautiful flowers invites exploration. Having breakfast items stocked in the fridge each day was a nice touch, although a wider variety would have been appreciated. A convenient location near Volcano National Park.

    heated mattress pad
    beautiful gardens
    limited breakfast variety
    garden maintenance
    repetitive offerings

The super calm place and proximity to exciting attractions were absolute highlights. Enjoyed the heated mattress pad after wet adventures, and breakfast options, especially the banana bread, were both a feast for the eyes and the palate. The limited variety in breakfast offerings started to feel repetitive after a couple of days, and while the gardens added charm, a bit more maintenance would enhance the experience. A special place with attentive hosts.

    great location
    limited seating

    Great location with good breakfasts

The location couldn't be better for exploring Volcano National Park, just a stone's throw away. Our garden view room was peaceful, and we loved the short rainforest walk right outside our door. Breakfasts were a treat, especially with the unique homemade banana bread and frittatas. One suggestion would be to expand the breakfast variety a bit for longer stays, as we could have eaten there for more days!

The breakfast here was amazing with a good variety to choose from, and it tasted really good. This place is nicely situated right in the middle of a beautiful rainforest 🌿. Plus, it's a quick walk to both the park and town center.
